Election Pledges

There are many elections in a democracy state. From a presidential election to a president of the student council election, it’s a feature of a democracy. During the election time, the people who want to be the one do the best publicity. There are many ways to publicize. Among them I think that election pledges are the most important. After I read the pamphlet of the student council election pledges, I figured out three points about the pledges.
First, he (she) must understand requires of people and try to give satisfaction. It’s the most basic option of the pledges, but it’s also the hardest option. No one can satisfy every people because every people have his own taste.
Second, focus. As I said, no one can satisfy every people, but he (she) can try the best to satisfy most of people. He (she) has to know who can be the most people. They must have power- the power to make someone be an elected person. Then, focus on them. If he (she) selects the wrong group to focus, he (she) will be losing.
The most important one is possibility to make the pledges to be real. Many people make pledges that can satisfy many people but less possibility to make it. People choose a person when they trust him (she), but most people don’t know the person before, so the pledges are the way to know him (she). If he (she) makes such a gaudy but unsubstantial pledge, he (she) will lose trust.
It’s my thoughts during a president of the student council election, nowadays.
